A lot of people wouldn’t class the Americana as a Hot Rodding weekend but to me the lifestyle and Hot Rodding go hand in hand, making this event one to be at. With a full range of Classic yanks to full blown hotrods all mixing together as one along with the 5 stages and 50+ live bands consisting from classic rock, rock ‘n’ roll & rockabilly that fits perfectly in with the American Lifestyle of the 1930’s – 1950’s, you can spend a good part of the day just having a walk around all the trade stalls selling all kinds of memorabilia.
There is just something about grabbing a few drinks and wandering off down to watch a live band with a bunch of good friends with the sun shining and having a chilled out afternoon having a laugh.
Americana International run by Chris & Bev Jackson will be held at the Newark Showground, Nottingham on the 8th – 10th July 2011.
